Ordering

The Picture Researcher section is designed primarily for commercial use ie. for those seeking images for commercial interiors or publication. However, most images from this archive may also be requested as a Gallery print for private use (please use the image request service below).

All images in the First Light Picture Library may be licenced for commercial use, such as reproduction in a magazine or corporate brochure, for editorial use, for use within a website, DVD or CD-Rom, or as a book or album cover. Prices for commercial use depend on the exact nature of the application and territory. Any image can be supplied either digitally on disk or CD, or as a print or duplicate transparency. Also, images may be FTPd or e-mailed directly to the client. Please contact sales@firstlightclick.com for further information regarding delivery requirements and timescales.

If you are currently looking for a specific image but are unable to find it, or wish to enquire about purchasing an archive image as a Gallery print, you may submit an Image Request directly to the staff at First Light. The entire First Light Picture Library archive features over 20,000 images, spanning several decades and currently only a relatively small percentage of the library is available online. By filling out an Image Request Form, First Light will endeavour to find any images that fulfil your requirements.

Use of any prints purchased from First Light is limited to private display only, except where they are licensed by First Light for commercial use. All photographic images displayed in the website have been watermarked using digital embedding of copyright notices and are copyright their respective owners. It is illegal to copy any of these images - including logos, thumbnails and other graphics - in any form, including saving, printing or storing the imagefile in any other form, electronic or mechanical.
